Web/Digital Designer
Position Overview:
Convergent Science is an innovative, rapidly growing software company in the engineering simulation market. We are seeking a creative and skilled Web/Digital Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital design principles and is proficient in creating engaging visuals for B2B audiences. You will enhance our online presence, maintain brand consistency, and deliver high-quality designs across various digital platforms.
Your mission is to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, engaging, and visually appealing web experiences that resonate with our audiences. This role requires a blend of creativity, web development skills, and a deep understanding of modern web design principles and technologies. Under the direction of the Creative Team Lead and in collaboration with our Web Development Team, you will lead the design and implementation of website features, ensuring they align with our campaigns and digital strategy.
We are a skilled and dedicated team within a larger global engineering firm. While our content is often highly technical, the Creative Operations team (part of the larger Marketing team) is responsible for converting that content into award-winning design and marketing pieces that inspire our existing customers and engage potential clients. Our team is based in Madison, Wisconsin, and collaborates regularly with coworkers in our other offices in Detroit, Houston; Linz, Austria; and Pune, India. Thus, our ideal candidate must be excellent at both verbal and visual communication and be comfortable collaborating virtually with a geographically diverse team.
