Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented VDC/CAD Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) within the mechanical contracting industry. This role involves creating and managing detailed 3D models, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models using VDC and CAD software.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure design accuracy and project efficiency.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare and review construction documents and shop drawings.
• Assist in the coordination of project schedules and deliverables.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in VDC/CAD technology.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years piping design and/or install experience.
• Proven experience in VDC/CAD modeling within the mechanical contracting industry.
• Proficiency in VDC and CAD software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
