Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs duties directly involved in a variety of technical procedures applying ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates the ultrasound equipment and develops the ultrasound films to form a permanent record of the examination. Uses sterile techniques with all procedures that require them and assists the radiologist in all procedures that require physicians’ presence. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or Ultrasonographer, or Registered Vascular Specialist is required
• 1-3 years of experience is needed

We are a multi-modality outpatient center using state-of-the-art equipment under the direction of board-certified radiologists. Our center is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), in MRI, CT scan, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Breast Ultrasound.
