Empire is Hiring Striping/Sealcoat Foreman

Southern California's leading paving contractor seeks an experienced Striping/Sealcoat Foreman to join our production team based in Orange, CA, servicing all of Southern California.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Striping Experience : Layout and stripe lines in parking lots and warehouses, paint curbs, apply stencils, install signs & posts, truncated domes, and wheel stops.
• Sealcoat Experience : Clean, prep, trim, and apply liquid seal coat and crack seal on pavement surfaces.
• Operate line striping equipment and various tools for parking lot layout and striping.
• Perform physical labor using maintenance equipment in parking lots.
• Train new team members on equipment and best practices.
• Use blowers, brooms, shovels, and other hand tools to prepare surfaces for recoating.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Manage projects from start to completion.
• Safely operate trucks/machinery and haul equipment to and from job sites.
• Follow plans, delegate tasks, work efficiently, and problem-solve in the field.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members, address concerns, and provide field authority.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, and customers.
• Lead and assist crew members to maintain a clean job site, properly use/maintain tools and equipment, and execute projects to company standards.
• Complete required paperwork to track daily production and crew accountability.
• Take photos of completed projects.

Qualifications:

• Must meet all safety requirements.
• Willing to work overtime/weekends as needed.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Possess a valid CA driver's license and clean DMV record at the time of the interview.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to calculate measurements, weights, area, circumference, and volume.
• Can stand for extended periods and climb stairs.
• Eagerness to learn.
