Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff/Senior Accountant to join our client’s non-profit organization in San Francisco. This role is crucial in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $45.
Responsibilities:Assist with various accounting projects and tasks.
Evaluate and maintain the General Ledger (GL).
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Utilize accounting software, primarily Sage (experience with other software is also acceptable).
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Experience in evaluating and maintaining General Ledger.
Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for Sage.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
