The role demands expertise in system configuration, automation, performance tuning, and security compliance while supporting mission-critical applications. The consultant will be expected to participate in on-call rotations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system design and documentation. The role demands expertise in system configuration, automation, performance tuning, and security compliance while supporting mission-critical applications. The consultant will be expected to participate in on-call rotations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system design and documentation. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (non-related: Agricultural Economics, MBA) Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), with a valid Certification ID Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of experience as a Red Hat system administrator 10+ years of experience with Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems 15+ years of total IT experience Scope of Work: Install, configure, and maintain RHEL systems in development, testing, and production Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, or Python Configure Red Hat Satellite and Identity Management (IdM) Ensure systems comply with organizational and security standards Support application teams and contribute to deployment strategies Maintain documentation and participate in incident response Configure NFS, mount points, and schedule Cron jobs Preferred Technical Experience: Oracle WebLogic, Oracle DB, Progress 4GL/OpenEdge, Apache, vSphere Rubrik backup systems and Oracle DB backups PeopleSoft, Mobius, Elastic Search, Oracle OBI CVS version control Red Hat performance tuning, load balancing, and DR/backup strategies 24/7 enterprise system support Red Hat support, application development, and electronic imaging systems Soft Skills & Capabilities: Effective verbal/written communication Team-oriented with leadership skills User and helpdesk interface experience Strong troubleshooting abilities across OS, database, and applications If interested please apply with resume.
