VMware Architect (VCF and Aria Expertise Required)

Location:  You will have the flexibility to work fully remote.

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 per year depending on experience

As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing private cloud solutions with a near-term focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Aria solutions to support our clients’ infrastructure needs. We will count on you to have a deep understanding of VMware technologies, cloud architecture, and virtualization concepts, with a focus on leveraging VMware Aria for cloud management and optimization. Along the way, you will get to:

• Serve as the technical leader on client projects, overseeing the design, acting as the client’s primary technical interface, and mentoring other technical delivery teammates.

• Design, deploy, and manage VMware (VCF) environments, ensuring high availability and performance .
• Implement and manage VMware Aria solutions for cloud management, cost optimization, and resource monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Monitor and optimize VCF and Aria performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with VMware, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Aria.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and data center architecture.
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerCLI, Ansible, or Terraform, particularly in the context of Aria Automation.
• Experience with other hypervisors, cloud, and virtualization technologies is preferred.
