Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.You will be mainly accountable for:â
- Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.â
- Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.â
- Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.â
- Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.
Qualifications For The Role - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 additional years of related engineering / field / technical experience). Minimum of 5 years of field engineering experience preferred.
- Demonstrated & ability to build strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, with strong business acumen.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 75% as required. Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
