Sales Support Representative - Construction 

Our Opportunity

The Sales Support Representative performs various tasks to ensure growth, revenue, and profitability for the region for specialty contractor focused on insulation and flooring.  Critical to the success of the position includes:  Customer lead follow-ups, prospecting and obtaining sales within assigned region, revenue growth and market penetration, expense management, existing customer management and new customer development.

Key duties include:

• Develop, manage, maintain and track contract pricing for regional builder business
• Prepare detailed quotations with accurate pricing and inclusive of all related material based on customer supplied information. 
• Analyze custom requests for feasibility and work with internal/external resources to determine costs and sourcing requirements.
• Work to maintain company objectives in gross margin while maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships and build brand loyalty as an extension of sales.
• Process and maintain pricing schedules.
• Produce and distribute monthly reports.
• Strong customer service attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment and have persistent follow-up.
• Strong math skills, including understanding of gross margin, cost of goods sold

Ideal candidate should have:

• 1-3 years in sales, sales support or new business development experience.
• Construction experience (insulation, flooring or related a plus).
• Able to quickly build trusted, honest relationships with current and new customers at multiple levels within a business.
• Quickly take action on customer concerns, investigate situations and recommend solutions.
