Rigger
Westlake Corporation is taking applications for a Maintenance Heavy Equipment Rigger at our work site in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years industrial background, 5 years industrial rigging experience, must be able to inspect and properly use all types of rigging equipment but not limited to wire rope, chain, synthetic web slings, hooks, shackles, eye bolts, hoist rings, turnbuckles, spreader/lifting beams, load blocks, sheaves, hoists, chain falls, come-alongs. Must comply with all OSHA requirements when hoisting personnel. Must be able to interpret rated capacity charts for wire rope, slings, and rigging hardware. Must have working knowledge of cranes, and have NCCER / NCCCO certification for Rigger / signal person and be able to maintain certification upon employment.
