Excelcare at Norwood is seeking a Part Time/Per diem Recreation Aide to enhance social wellness and help foster joy throughout our community.

Your Role as Recreation Aide:
Organize and lead recreational activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, and group events
Encourage resident involvement, adapting programs to meet various levels of ability
Provide assistance with transporting residents to activities or outings
Promote a cheerful atmosphere that supports emotional and social well-being
Document participation and feedback to support program planning
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in long-term care or working with older adults preferred
Energetic, personable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
Physical ability to assist residents as needed and support activity setup
