Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, negotiate and interpret a wide range of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, development agreements, and property management agreements.
2. Provide legal advice on a range of real estate matters such as property rights, property taxes, zoning, and environmental compliance.
3. Conduct due diligence in real estate transactions, including review of title documents, surveys, and environmental studies.
4. Represent the company in court proceedings, if necessary, and coordinate with outside counsel on litigation matters.
5. Advise clients on legal risks and implications in real estate transactions.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with timely and practical legal advice.
7. Stay abreast of current legislation, court rulings, and industry trends affecting real estate law to ensure the company and its clients are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the State Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law with a strong focus on real estate transactions.
4. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and create legal documents.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in using legal research software and other related software.
9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
