Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical construction experience OR equivalent schooling (construction management, mechanical trades, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Any experience with a mechanical subcontractor performing pipefitting or plumbing work is a plus
• Will consider recent graduates with a construction management degree and completed internships
• Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to ensure project timelines, requirements, and deliverables are met
• Support billing, change orders, collections, and other administrative processes to maintain on-time completion
• Review job cost, status, manpower, and change order reports; provide monthly analysis with the project team
• Attend monthly job cost reviews to report on profitability and project status
• Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Construction Managers, General Contractors, and other internal/external stakeholders
• Help coordinate manpower and equipment for each job
• Conduct and attend weekly job-site visits and project meetings
• Assist with job setup, contract review, cost estimates, and schedule of values
• Generate Project Manager reports and attend project management meetings as needed
• Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project
• Perform other duties as assigned
