Private family looking to hire a Nanny/Housekeeper in Edgewater, New Jersey.


The Ideal Candidate: Someone flexible who has experience with newborns and 5 year olds. Activities and quality time with children that are enriching in nature and also productive. Helping clean around the kitchen and living area when able. Laundry assistance when needed.


What Works Best for Family : Family has a five year old, and a 5 week old baby.. Dad has a demanding career + we they travel often. Looking for someone honest, genuinely kind, astute and prepared to make important decisions, clean and orderly, who really loves children and takes pride in their job. Someone who also knows how to make themselves comfortable in our home while still respecting privacy and boundaries.


Requested Duration: No end date in mind.


About the Family


Adults:2
Children:1 5 yr old with a baby on the way
Current Staff: Night nurse in preparation for baby, (7 months pregnant) + we had another nanny employed for 3 years.


Position Responsibilities

• Childcare: 2 Children, Ages 5 and newborn
• Housekeeping: Light Housekeeping Required,Shared Housekeeping Required
• Cooking: Children's Meals Only
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Errands: No Errands Required
• Driving: Required
• Travel: Domestic and International Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM- Monday-Friday with flexibility in evenings and occasional weekends if possible (especially during football season)
• Languages: English
• Experience: Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: self sufficient, knows how to read a room, sweet and honest

Position Compensation

• Salary: $35 per hour depending on experience and flexibility
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
