New England Professional Home Healthcare is Now Hiring: Personal Care Homemaker (PCHM) Supporting Elderly Care

Who Were Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Is at least 18 years old
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and reliability
• Has completed a 60-hour Personal Care Homemaker Training Program (Massachusetts Council) or Holds a valid PCA, HHA, or CNA certification
• Has CPR certification
• Possesses a valid drivers license and at least one year of personal care experience
• Can pass all required background checks (CORI, OIG, SORI, NARS)
• Is proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English

Your Role in Elder Care

As a Personal Care Homemaker , you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, assisting elderly clients with:

Personal Care & Daily Living Support

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and oral hygiene
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders
• Offering companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness

Household Assistance & Meal Preparation

• Planning and preparing nutritious meals
• Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
• Assisting with scheduling medical appointments and social activities

Health & Safety Monitoring

• Observing and reporting changes in a clients physical or mental condition
• Creating a warm and safe environment for comfort and security
