**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Pay$ 20/hour** **Location: On-site in Prescott, Wi.** **Job Description** This role involves hands-on work in a lumber yard environment, supporting various production tasks such as wood cutting, CNC machine operation, and frame finishing. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to learn. **Responsibilities** + Receive lumber delivered by forklift and measure and cut wood to specified dimensions using a power saw. + Label and stack cut pieces onto designated pallets; training provided on saw operation and measurement techniques. + Catch wood from a conveyor belt and stack onto pallets, operating a small crane (training provided) to assist with heavy lifting. + Operate the Linear Saw machine (Hund-Dinger), requiring computer proficiency and strong attention to detail. + Use nail guns and tape measures to assemble and finish frames for shipment, ensuring accuracy by reading color-coded prints. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 6 months of experience with hand or power tools. + Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16" or 1/32". + Strong verbal communication skills; must speak clearly and confidently. + Capable of performing tasks quickly and safely. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in woodworking or carpentry is advantageous. + Proactive attitude and higher skill levels preferred. + Must bring steel-toed boots, hammer, and tape measure on the first day. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a 4-day work week with 3-day weekends, a bonus program based on performance, and regular overtime opportunities for consistent hours. Expect to be on your feet for up to 10 hours a day, working at a fast pace, with tasks performed individually or with small teams.
