Job Description

As a Window and Door Installer , you will professionally install residential and commercial windows and doors. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will work independently or as part of a team, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet Woodland's high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare job sites by setting up materials, tools, and safety measures.
• Follow standard carpentry procedures to remove and install windows, doors, and related structures , ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Verify construction quality using levels, framing squares, and other measuring instruments.
• Seal and insulate openings for energy efficiency and weatherproofing, including caulking as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and building codes , including OSHA regulations, and report any compliance concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site by disposing of debris and following company procedures.
• Troubleshoot and maintain tools and equipment , perform preventive maintenance, and report repairs when necessary.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members to ensure smooth project completion.
• Document and report job progress, irregularities, and ongoing needs to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Contribute to team success by collaborating with colleagues and supporting job site efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in window and door installation (residential and/or commercial), minimum of two to three years.
• Knowledge of carpentry, construction, or general contracting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation instructions.

Requirements:

• The ability to take initiative, resolve job site issues, and work in a team environment is essential.
• High attention to detail on all tasks performed, execution on all installations, and follow-up communication relaying information to team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work on ladders/scaffolding.
• Ability to constantly stand, bend, squat, climb (stairs/ladders), kneel, twist and reach.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record are REQUIRED.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of technical problem-solving skills.
• Monday through Friday work weeks with some scheduled Saturdays.

Language:

Able to speak and understand English, Spanish, or Polish

License/Certification:

Valid Driver's License (Required)

Pay is competitive and based on experience.
