OVERVIEW:
Seeking a seasoned Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of the warehouse and distribution center. This role will focus on optimizing operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, and leading a dedicated team to meet the company’s high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operational Leadership : Lead and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, and shipping.
• Efficiency Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the warehouse. Identify areas for process improvement and execute changes that lead to operational excellence.
• Team Management : Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, setting performance goals, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory management through regular stock checks, reconciliations, and reporting. Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of goods received and shipped, ensuring that all products meet company standards before reaching the customer.
• Vendor Coordination: Work closely with external partners, including delivery services and suppliers, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze operational reports to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and logistics software.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse management: 3 years (Preferred)
• Team management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Stock administration: 3 years (Preferred)
• Inventory management: 3 years (Preferred)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Please establish volume candidates have handled. Need someone who has experienced fulfilling and managing the following at any one time:
-- $10,000,000 value of stock
-- 100,000 units
-- 4000 – 5000 SKU (products)
-- 1000 orders/ 5000 units per day to dispatch
-- 250 units returned items per day
-- 20,000 units per delivery

• Night and weekend shift management plus public holiday shift requirements
• Customer service complaints and queries
• Team of 20+ compromised of FT, PT, night and weekend workers – shows willingness to work any of these shifts as and when required especially at peak busy periods
• Can bring a reliable and competent team with them
• Excellent at excel
• Experience with RFID
