Role Overview:

The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build a high-performing sales team, field sales and outbound capabilities, establish strong customer relationships, and work closely with the executive team to shape the future of aiOla.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in a start-up or high-growth environment within the SAAS industry.
  • Demonstrated success in field and outbound sales, with a strong ability to close significant deals.
  • Experience in the manufacturing, hospitality, food, retail, shipping, transportation, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading sales teams, achieving revenue targets, growing numbers at least x4 year over year, and driving market expansion.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment and capable of adapting to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the US at least 60% of the time for in-person meetings, field sales, and event participation.

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth globally, with focus on North America and EMEA. 
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
  • Field and Outbound Sales:
  • Design and implement effective field and outbound sales campaigns to generate leads and close deals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry networks and market insights.
  • Deal Closure and Revenue Generation:
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of clients in targeted industries.
  • Market Expansion:
  • Drive market penetration and customer acquisition in the manufacturing, hospitality, food, retail, shipping, transportation, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Utilize market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales approaches.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and support.
