The Role: Video Editor We’re looking for a Video Editor to join our team and take ownership of editing across a variety of projects — from brand films to social clips. This is a contract-to-hire role (30–90 days), transitioning into full-time employment. Location: Our ideal candidate is in-person in Jackson, MI, but we are setup for and open to remote or hybrid editors if it's a great fit. What You’ll Do Edit branded films, interviews, podcasts, and social media content. Incorporate client and internal feedback efficiently, minimizing revision cycles. Shape raw footage into polished, compelling stories that reflect our cinematic style. Manage projects in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, LucidLink, and ClickUp. Grow into a collaborative team member who actively contributes ideas and feedback. What Success Looks Like Projects are delivered on time with high quality and minimal errors. You free leadership from day-to-day editing so they can focus on growth and creative direction. You actively learn, improve your craft, and contribute creatively in team discussions. Must-Haves Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Solid grasp of pacing, audio balance, and storytelling. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Nice-to-Haves Experience with DaVinci Resolve (color grading). Familiarity with LucidLink, Dropbox Replay, and ClickUp. Short-form content creation for social media. Contract-to-Hire Period (30–90 days): If chosen, you’ll join us as a contract editor while we mutually evaluate fit, collaboration, and impact on real client projects.
