The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor + Motion Graphics Designer to join our in-house content team. This full-time position requires someone with strong editing instincts and motion design capabilities who can confidently bring concepts to life through dynamic visual storytelling.

You’ll be working on a variety of projects, including:

• Branded videos for high-end real estate and hospitality clients

• Social media reels

• Interview-based storytelling

• Corporate content and mini-documentaries

• Motion graphics overlays, animated logos, kinetic typography, and explainer-style animations

This role is on-site at our studio in Eastern Market and offers the opportunity to collaborate with a tight-knit creative team in a fast-paced, visual-forward environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with clients' branding and messaging.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver compelling visual narratives.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality and engagement. 
• Ensure all video content meets technical specifications and is optimized for various platforms, including social media and web.
• Edit high-quality video content from concept through delivery.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Design and animate motion graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to align on project vision.
• Organize and manage media assets across multiple projects.
• Export deliverables optimized for various platforms (social, web, broadcast).
• Stay up to date on editing and animation trends, especially in the luxury brand spaces.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion design

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and related CC tools

• Experience creating branded content for lifestyle, hospitality, or real estate clients is a major plus

• Strong sense of narrative, rhythm, pacing, and visual composition

• Ability to take creative feedback and iterate quickly

• Familiarity with sound editing, color correction, and asset management

• Bonus: Experience in 3D animation or graphic design

Salary Range
