Position Description Seeking to hire a Vertex Consultant in support of an SAP FI implementation for Manufacturing Client. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a high-performance team and with an engaging client on one of their business-critical projects. This is a HYBRID role and can be based in either; New Brunswick NJ, New York, NY, Hartford, CT, Plymouth Meeting, PA, Cary, NC, Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN. Your future duties and responsibilities Assessment of application and implementation System design and hands on development activities, as needed Client interaction including; coordinating with architecture team, business and IT leads Coordinate with a global European teams Coordinate required monthly updates and perform associated routine tests Required qualifications to be successful in this role Minimum of 6 years of overall Vertex Experience to include: 4 years of VERTEX O-Series 9.0 5+ years of Experience - customization, master data, and reporting 6+ years of SAP Finance, Sales, and Procurement processes/interface with VERTEX US Tax Knowledge Proven Experience with Google Suite Prior experience Researching Service ONE Tickets Customer Tax Exemption Certificate Validity Pricing Errors on Sales Orders Taxability of Procurement Taxability Drivers (ex Purchase Class (SAP Material Group) and Purchase Class + Usage Class (SAP Cost Center Category) Customize Taxability Driver as requested Create Tax Rules as requested Customize new taxpayers (SAP company codes) for projects Canadian Tax Knowledge "nice to have " but not a requirement Employment Practices: EEO, ADA, FMLA Compliant VLink is an equal-opportunity employer.
