Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.
Job Description & Requirements**Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested -- required during fall/winter season** Required: • CA License • 2 years of recent Level 4 experience • Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns • Will consider strong 1st time traveler • BLS • Advanced NRP • PALS Preferred • Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Mercy and Scripps Chula Vista) • Must have own transportation • Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care. Shifts: •3x12 Variable or straight nights •Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for day shift and Friday/Saturday/Sunday for night shift). •14 week contracts only - will not do anything under 14 weeks Requested Time Off: • Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays. 6 days max RTO. Ratio: 1:1-2
