Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Illinois with day shifts and on-call rotation, requiring strong critical care and cardiovascular intervention experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
• Day shift position with on-call rotation that includes 2 nights per week and 6 weekends during the 13-week contract
• Patient population includes individuals requiring interventional neurology and cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Department may support other units for patient care needs during on-call
• Provide assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with established standards
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved techniques and procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation following hospital and system standards
• Participate in departmental performance improvement and shared governance activities
• Support patient and family education at appropriate levels of understanding
• May be expected to provide guidance to other units or departments
• Must be willing to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Engage in continuous professional development and peer review processes

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active and current IL RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year of critical care experience required
• Experience in cardiovascular interventions required
• Interventional neurology experience preferred
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Must successfully pass EKG test prior to completion of orientation
