Job Title: Travel First Assist Technologist Facility: HRMC (Hospital name abbreviated) Location: Arizona Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Summary: HRMC is seeking a skilled and dependable Travel First Assist Technologist to support surgical teams in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring sterile technique, and contributing to optimal surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including exposure, hemostasis, and closure
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and communicate effectively with the surgical team
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
• Comply with hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical First Assist (CSFA) or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a First Assist role in an acute care setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
