Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care with pediatric experience, ready to handle a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.


• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement care plans.


• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.


• Oversee charge responsibilities as needed.


• Ensure compliance with established protocols and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with pediatric experience preferred.


• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.


• Active New York RN license and all RN licenses must be verified via NURSYS.


• EMR experience required, particularly with EPIC.


• References from two recent ED Charge/Manager RNs.


• Skills Checklist must match the specialty.
