As a Telecom Technician, you will support various telecom engineering projects throughout the country and work on challenging projects to develop and expand your telecom understanding.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?

• Design and draft Engineering projects in fiber optics and telecommunications
• Design running lines
• Plan set development which includes details, site plans, drainage, grading, and electrical drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines
• Manage project data files from various sources
• Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely
• Perform on site visits to telecommunication locations
• Work with local teams to coordinate and perform site walks on telecommunication locations
• Help oversee / manage installations of telecommunications systems
• Local travel required
• Up to 40% of time will be in the field

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

• Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D preferred
• Experience with Microstation a plus, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
• Understanding of construction processes is a must
• Must be able to use small hand tools (screw drivers, tape measures, etc.)
• Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
• Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
