Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role focuses on leading quality and compliance programs within a dynamic mail order specialty pharmacy environment. The position offers a hybrid schedule with a mix of onsite days in Kalamazoo, MI, and remote work flexibility for candidates residing in the Midwest who can travel as needed.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the Quality Management Program (QMP) across retail, specialty, infusion, and treatment navigation teams. You will spearhead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as URAC, ACHC, CMS, and PBM. Developing policies, SOPs, and performance metrics, as well as managing incident reporting and root cause analyses, will be central to your role. Collaboration with department leadership across multiple functions will be essential to align quality efforts with organizational goals. Additionally, supporting staff development and participating in quality committees provides an opportunity to significantly impact patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Advanced healthcare degree required (PharmD, RPh, RN, or equivalent) with an active Michigan license
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare quality leadership experience, preferably within pharmacy operations or treatment navigation
• Strong expertise in quality improvement methods, risk management, and accreditation standards
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities

Preferred certifications include:

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or Certified Lean Healthcare Professional (CLHP)
• Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
• Compliance & Ethics credentials such as CCEP or CHC (optional)
