We are looking for an AV engineer that can handle a wide array of tasks.

Some of the tasks would include troubleshooting, engineering AV systems, commissioning systems, system diagnostics, networks, system design, some programming.

Essential duties and responsibilities –

• Willingness to be very hands-on with installation and service related work as needed
• Manage or perform service calls and ensure periodic preventative maintenance services are properly completed on schedule
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues on installations and service events
• Participate in project meetings (on-site or virtual) including site trade coordination and customer update meetings
• Recognize and adjust to customer needs
• Balance multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Exercise appropriate judgement when dealing with customers and planning/executing tasks
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Test and evaluate new technology and methods of implementation

Requirements / Qualifications –

Work with end users and staff for service, programming, system diagnostics,

Lighting control, sound boards, system design, audio & video systems, control systems

Highly proficient in video conferencing, digital signage, pro audio and other AV solutions. Knowledge of IP networking, standards-based video conferencing environments, DSP audio and AV control systems.

Specific familiarity with AMX, biamp, cisco, Crestron, harman professional (AMX, SVSi, Crown, JBL, DBX, BSS), and Polycom products.

CTS preferred

Must have five years + designing or installing professional AV and collaboration solutions.

A broad knowledge base in the AV industry is required for this position.

This position does require some local travel to sites for commissioning, service calls and

system repair.
