Since 1955, we’ve been bridging innovation and excellence, bringing specialty raw materials to life for industries like Coatings, Adhesives, Pharmaceuticals, and Personal Care. Backed by the legacy of our Japanese parent company, Kowa Group, with over a century of expertise, we thrive on connecting global manufacturers with cutting-edge solutions. If you’re looking to join a company that’s redefining what’s possible in the specialty chemical space, you’ve found your place.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Are you ready to lead and innovate? We are looking for a forward-thinking Technical Sales and Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our chemical intermediates business. You’ll spearhead our efforts in Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers (CASE) applications, blending technical savvy with strategic vision.

In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing team, craft bold strategies, and align sales and marketing efforts to make an undeniable impact. If you’re a results-driven leader who’s as passionate about innovation as you are about building relationships, this is your opportunity to shape the future with us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Craft and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow revenue and market share for our chemical products and services.
  • Inspire and lead the sales and marketing team to exceed targets through coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Own the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to sealing the deal, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and the team.
  • Design marketing campaigns that amplify our brand and bring in highly qualified leads.
  • Develop messaging and content that highlights the technical brilliance of our products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that fit client needs like a glove.
  • Build a high-energy, innovative team environment where everyone thrives and contributes their best.
  • Strengthening relationships with key clients, acting as their go-to partner for technical solutions and insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, R&D, and leadership, to align strategies and maximize impact.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors move to stay ahead of the curve and refine strategies.
  • Keep senior leadership in the loop with regular updates on performance, campaigns, and growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical sales and marketing, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and hitting sales and marketing goals.
  • Expertise in acrylic, methacrylate, and urethane chemistry, and the ability to explain it to anyone technically or not.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a knack for data-driven decision-making.

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Experience in the coating and adhesives industry.
  • Familiarity with advanced sales techniques and digital marketing tools like SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • B2B experience in technical sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of lead generation and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.

WORK STYLE:

  • A flexible mix of office, remote, and on-the-go, with travel to meet clients, attend events, or visit production facilities.
  • Collaboration with dynamic cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Travel to client meetings, industry trade shows, and conferences to make things happen (about 30%).
  • Use digital tools to stay organized, efficient, and connected.
