Job Description

Overview A Technical Architect for the Red Hat OpenShift Platform is a highly skilled professional responsible for designing and architecting OpenShift-based solutions that meet specific business requirements. This role ensures that solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure. The architect has deep proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift services, including OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and related container technologies, along with expertise in Linux and VMware environments. Responsibilities Set up and configure OpenShift clusters, storage solutions, networking, and databases to support various business applications. Deploy and manage OpenShift resources such as projects, namespaces, and services to ensure smooth operations. Monitor OpenShift environments, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance. Implement and enforce security measures to ensure OpenShift resources comply with organizational policies and industry regulations. Optimize costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns. Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of OpenShift-based solutions. Qualifications / Requirements Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Platform, including OpenShift Container Platform, RHEL, and related technologies. Experience with Linux and VMware environments. Experience with DevOps practices, such as CI/CD. Proficiency with automation tools like Ansible or OpenShift CLI. Experience with cloud migration projects, including assessment, design, and execution. Proficiency in setting up and managing container orchestration with OpenShift for scalable, managed deployments.
