** Tax Preparer | UltraTax & SurePrep: **

Location - Englewood, CO 80112

** Pay -** $30-35/hr. Depending on Experience

** Hours -** M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

** Experience: ** 1+ years relevant experience preferred (AP, AR, Tax Preparation, Bookkeeping, etc.).

Looking for a talented financial professional with the bookkeeping skills to get our client through their busy season. A staff tax accountant role with our client provides the opportunity to assist the partners and senior associates in providing tax planning, consulting and preparation services to our clients. This opportunity, which requires an understanding of income tax rules and regulations, will involve the preparation of business, individual, trust and not-for-profit tax returns. This position also requires a general knowledge of UltraTax & SurePrep, which are used by many of our clients for their accounting software. The staff tax accountant will work directly with the partners and other staff to provide a quality product to our clients. This position provides for career advancement by allowing the tax accountant to learn and develop alongside knowledgeable and experienced partners and senior associates.

** Tax Preparer | UltraTax & SurePrep Responsibilities: **

• Obtain primary financial data for accounting records.
• Compute and record numerical data.
• Check the accuracy of business transactions.
• Perform data entry and administrative duties.

** Tax Preparer | UltraTax & SurePrep Requirements: **

• 1-3 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
• Competent knowledge of relevant tax forms and documents.
• Experience working in both UltraTax & SurePrep systems.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrates ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a plus.
• CTEC is a plus.
• CPA license is a plus.
