9994 Tax Manager (hybrid)

Our client in McKinney is hiring a Tax Manager to join their expanding Dallas team. You will report to the Tax Director and set policy, review returns, collaborate with our business services teams and prepare some of the more complex tax returns. There is huge growth potential for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise tax associate(s) on team to ensure metrics are met
Ensure efficient workflow and timely submission of filings
Review work of the team including partnership, s-corporation, trust, and personal income tax returns
Help to set Guidelines, Policies and Procedures
Provide tax advice to business owners and individuals
Ensure practice compliance with all state and federal regulations
Maintain superior communication with clients

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
?Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
QuickBooks experience
8-10 years experience as a CPA in public accounting or a mix of public/industry
