Hourly Pay:- $55/hr on W2 to $59.99/hr on W2.

We are looking for a Business / Financial Analyst – III in our Indirect Tax (Sales and Use) Team.In this position the ideal candidate will be responsible working with outside outsource vendor, to assure all transaction taxes, e.g. sales & use taxes, are filed timely and accurately.
Position Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of transaction tax returns.
• Required to implementing process improvements through the use of innovative & creative thinking.
• Work with automation tools (e.g. Alteryx) to reduce redundant tasks by using innovative techniques such as Robotics & designing process flows.
• Analyze financial data from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Revenue Accounting and Corporate Accounting.
• Reconcile large data sets with the use of Excel, Excel Power Query and Microsoft Access.
• Review transaction tax data to ensure it is accurate and analyze variances prior to sending data to 3rd party outsourcer for filing.
• Responsible for reconciling all tax liability accounts.
• Responsible for the review; analysis and streamline tax processes.
• Perform special projects, as required, assigned by Manager.
• Assist the exemption group with research, information needed and issuance of Resale and/or Exemption Certificates, as required.
You’ll need to have:
• Thorough knowledge of State taxes, such as Sales and Use and other pass-through type taxes.
• Knowledge of the compliance process and how tax returns are filed.
• The ability to develop methods to streamline processes and develop tax planning strategies to minimize company's cash flow and overall tax burden.
• The candidate has to possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience in a related Field Required
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
• CPA or Master’s degree in taxation is a plus.
• Experience with large automated systems (e.g. billing, general ledger, and a/p).
• Knowledge with automated tax systems. (e.g. Vertex)
• Experienced with SAP, PeopleSoft or other major accounting systems.
