Job Details
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance, tax planning, and tax reporting activities for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for our clients using UltraTax software
Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
Develop tax strategies to minimize tax liability for our clients
Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters
Prepare financial statements and reports related to tax activities
Manage sales tax and payroll tax filings for clients
Communicate with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as needed
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA certification or EA preferred
At least 3 years of experience in public accounting
Proficiency in UltraTax, Thompson Reuters, QuickBooks, and other tax software
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
