Systems Integration Engineer – GRAIL Lab, Space Systems Position Summary Oceaneering Space Systems (OSS) invites a Systems Integration Engineer to support NASA’s Gateway Program at the JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science II (JETS II) contract. The Engineer will lead integration activities for the Gateway Ready Avionic in the GRAIL Integration Lab, collaborating with partners, testing stakeholders, and ensuring all interface and test requirements are met. Duties And Responsibilities Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Gateway Ready Avionic integration in the GRAIL Lab. Collaborate with lab personnel, partners, providers, and testing stakeholders to understand interface and testing requirements. Leverage interface knowledge to assure lab design provides proper interfaces for testing objectives. Develop expertise on lab verification efforts and maintain documentation of integration processes, equipment specifications, configurations, and test results. Assist in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and debugging, ensuring systems meet requirements. Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Provide support to lab personnel and external customers on integrated system specifications. Participate in system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications A BS Engineering degree and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or systems engineering. Experience integrating complex hardware and software systems. Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and debugging skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced collaborative environment. Knowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirements. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field. Knowledge of networking hardware and software. Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings. Able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines with limited supervision. Experience working in a team environment. Preferred Knowledge of Flight Hardware and/or Flight Processes/Paperwork. Experience with NASA processes. Knowledge and experience with DOORS Next Generation. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
