Job Description

Camp Skylemar seeks college students and recent graduates to be Coach Counselors this summer. At Skylemar, you’ll have the opportunity to be a leader while coaching, and mentoring kids. Camp Skylemar, is a 7-week sports-oriented program in Maine that brings together college athletes, coaches, and teachers who hope to positively impact the next generation. Our mission is to make a positive difference in the world, one child at a time.

Activities include:

· Sports: lacrosse, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, hockey, football, soccer, fitness, volleyball, archery, cross-country, track and throws.

· Aquatic Sports: swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, wake-surfing, water polo & fishing.

Applicants must have completed at least one year of college. The compensation package starts at $3,200.00 and includes additional benefits such as free housing, meals, round-trip transportation expenses, time off, Wi-Fi, staff clothing, and laundry service. The camp season, including training, runs from June 15 to August 10, 2025. Participants have the option to take an online college class. Skylemar also features a weight room, an athletic trainer, and a strength coach on campus.

Internship credit is available. Most educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. Check with your institution to be sure this opportunity meets any requirements.

Applicants must have completed at least one year of college education. Additionally, applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
