As a premier actuarial consulting firm, we've been at the forefront of innovation since 1968, serving the life, health, and property & casualty insurance sectors with bespoke solutions. Our team of over 50 actuaries spans the nation, each contributing to a high-talent, largely remote workforce.
Compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $18 to $23 per hour.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to industry research and actuarial analysis.
- Supporting special client projects within the property and casualty insurance field.
- Engaging in client interactions from the perspective of an actuarial consultant.
- Acquiring hands-on experience in actuarial topics that align with advanced CAS exam content.
To qualify, you should possess:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with additional knowledge of statistical software such as R or Python being advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7 or a "Pass" in a Pass/Fail system.
