About The Role:

We are a health and wellness-focused startup building AI-powered products designed to help families thrive. We're searching for a Staff Interaction Designer who will play a critical role in shaping user experiences for our AI-driven solutions. You’ll be an integral part of a small but growing team, responsible for defining how our users experience our innovative solutions, and work closely with cross-functional teams to craft intuitive, human-centered designs that focus on meaningful outcomes for our users. Your work will directly impact how users engage with our product and make positive choices for their well-being.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Design intuitive, user-first interfaces that guide families through personalized wellness journeys.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and researchers to turn complex problems into elegant, easy-to-use solutions.
• Use your deep knowledge of interaction design to craft responsive and adaptive user experiences that evolve with user needs.
• Design and deliver intuitive data visualizations that transform complex health and wellness information into actionable insights for users.
• Collaborate closely on early-stage design explorations, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to bring AI-powered concepts to life.
• Advocate for user-first thinking and design patterns, ensuring that every interaction feels natural and purposeful.
• Lead usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback to create seamless, impactful experiences.
• Drive the end-to-end design process for new features and products, from ideation to launch, with a focus on 0 to 1 product development.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, particularly within health and wellness, to ensure our product designs are cutting-edge and user-friendly.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong portfolio showcasing user-first, interaction design work for digital products, preferably in the health and wellness space.
• Deep expertise in data visualization and translating complex information into understandable concepts that helps people take action, preferably in health and wellness area.
• Proven experience designing for AI-powered or complex, data-driven products.
• Expertise in delivering 0 to 1 product designs, from concept to execution.
• Proficiency with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to take ambiguous ideas and craft clear, compelling user experiences that drive engagement.
• Experience working with personalization or recommendation systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards is a bonus.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
