Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts.
• 
  Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• 
  Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• 
  Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• 
  Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• 
  Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and GAAP.
• 
  Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• 
  Analyze and interpret financial information to identify discrepancies and variances.
• 
  Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• 
  Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 
  1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or entry-level positions acceptable).
• 
  Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• 
  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
