ReConserve® has been the largest recycler of food by-products in the United States for over 85 years. We provide sanitary, efficient removal and recycling services to the food and feed manufacturing industries nationwide. You will be part of a dedicated professional team caring for our customers based out of our Battle Creek location.

* The available Full-Time Sennior Truck Mechanic position will be scheduled 5 days of the week, Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Unpaid 30 min lunch break)
* Compensation $37.00 - $42.00 commensurate with experience and certifications
* Paid weekly
* Overtime pay after (40) hours

*Job Duties*

* Minor to major repairs, including but not limited to transmissions, engine, emissions, brakes, and differentials
* Tractor and trailer PMs and DOT
* Must be well versed in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, brakes, suspensions, AC, diffs, and turbo diagnosis through knowledge and experience as well as electronic diagnostic tools.
* Candidate will work with approved vendors for part orders
* Candidate will work to reduce part costs by utilizing 3 competitive quotes and vetting new vendors.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
* Take the lead in training new mechanics and providing direction to ensure equipment downtime is minimized.

*Requirements*

* 5+ years of Diesel Mechanic experience is required.
* A valid driver’s license
