Overview:
A senior individual of the highest technical skill and experience in DEV/Ops Mainframe Operations Life Cycle Management. Displaying a broad range of disciplines, environments, and automation best practices within the automated operations practice or, the individual may possess skills and highly technical experience in Endevor software, that is, a specialist of the highest technical caliber. Familiar with Zowe as an interface for DEV/Op. Provides assistance and recommendations to management and clients on automated operations topics pertaining to the architectural design and development of applied systems and software services. Additional capabilities such as REXX coding to enhance further automation capabilities of the Sr. Consultant is a requirement for this position. Ability to travel to client sites is required for this position.
Primary Functions:
Analyzes Life Cycle Management data requirements and provides related solution modeling and implementation.
Reviews proposed solution plans for Endevor and related automated operations.
Evaluates solution design, upgrade, conversion from other products and implementation approaches.
Conducts hardware/software comparative evaluations as they relate to Life Cycle Management.
Technical solution trouble shooter and post implementation support.
Acts as consultant in studying and recommending actions on a wide variety of technical areas regarding Life Cycle Management and Dev Ops.
Communicates current innovations and trends in Life Cycle Management.
Technical consultant and reference source.
Ability to implement or upgrade Endevor, build processors, create inventory structures and build application configuration of life cycle elements.
Ability to script or code quick implementation to solve conversion from other products to Endevor
Technical Skills: Understanding of Endevor concepts and practice
Understanding and implementation of Endevor Components, ACM, PDM, Security interface and Quick Edit.
Proficient with REXX programming languages
Bachelor's Degree preferred and 8+ years' experience with Endevor
Firm understanding of Endevor processors and ability to take examples and put together processor that do program compiles and other utilities such as JCL check
Familiarity with Changeman, ISPW, Librarian and Panvalet and other competitor products to Endevor is a plus.
Specific Projects
Seeking to install a highly skilled DevOps mainframe person to assist the core infrastructure team with Endevor / Zowe installs as well as assisting the Endevor admins with product enhancement.
Short term project would include : Endevor v19 upgrade assistance Zowe upgrade assistance DevOps suite installs ( Git 4 Bridge, Code4z etc ). Expansion of Endevor from one environment into multi environment use. Also looking product enhancement skills to leverage Endevor available features not currently in use.
PEOPLE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to listen to client requirements and organize them into a list of business needs and objectives
Ability to provide written communication back to the project manager and customer regarding build and integrate instructions, assigned task status, and ability to communicate through channels such as knowledge transfer instructions to run the solution after implementation is complete.
Ability to follow a communication plan established by the project manager
Ability to document clearly all the aspects listed above and ability to clearly communicate in writing project statuses, task status and communicate in writing
This remote position supports clients in Latin America, therefore, fluent Spanish and English skills are required.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $135,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
