Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational environment in Redding, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them achieve their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure inclusive and effective learning strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
• Support the social and emotional development of students through positive reinforcement and intervention strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential.
• Proven experience working with students with a range of special needs.
• Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and adaptive instructional methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
