Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Somerset, NJ
Contract: 3-6 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Hours 8 am - 5 pm
Note: 1st round phone screen interview, then in person 2nd round
Coordinates shipment of finished goods and schedules pick-up with appropriate common carriers and freight forwarders and parcel couriers (e.g. FedEx, UPS). Prepares physical shipment and all documents in accordance with DOT/IATA/FAA/IMO and other requirements ription here. And will perform accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control. Ensures storage of materials/product to proper location. Will also assist in warehouse cycle counting program.
This position will coordinate the shipment of finished goods and schedule pick-up with

Key Responsibilities:
Stock, restock, and organize raw materials and finished products in assigned warehouses.
Inspects, receives, and samples all raw materials for manufacturing areas and scans and transfers items as needed.
General product assembly as required for product distribution to customers, which may include order pulling, labeling, shrink wrapping, and all aspects of order fulfillment.
Loading and unloading trucks, as well as assisting in on-site pick up of recyclable scrap material and waste.
Counts, documents, and inspects goods received. Complete Daily Logs
Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
Requirements :
High School Diploma/ GED required
Forklift certification needed
3 to 5 years of experience in receiving, shipping, logistics, etc.
Prior process equipment operator experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with business systems such as SAP, Kronos, Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Power point and Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate a forklift 50% of the day
Ability to climb on/off on a repetitive basis throughout the day
Frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs.
Ability to hold & use scanner / tablet
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.
