Requirements Medtrics is looking for a seasoned Senior Django/Python Developer to join our team. With a focus on building scalable web applications and enhancing user experiences, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-impact environments. We are searching for a leader with a proven track record of success in full-stack development (with strength in Django/Python) and project management to help us solve global challenges.
Medtrics is an enterprise SaaS platform used by hospitals and universities to manage the training of physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
Location : Philadelphia (Hybrid - 3 days in Center City Office / 2 days at home)
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain advanced web applications using Django, Python, and Vue.
- Lead the architecture design, implementation, and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Manage full project lifecycle from conception to completion with iterative testing and maintenance.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed while ensuring security and data protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to define user requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts.
- Integrate various databases and data sources into a cohesive and efficient system.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with substantial expertise in Django and Python.
- Proven experience as a tech lead or senior developer on multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end build pipelines.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD tools,
- Proficient in using version control tools such as Git
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working with a distributed team.
