Position Overview
The Senior Civil Engineer - Water is responsible for leading projects focused on water treatment and wastewater management. This role will involve designing and implementing engineering solutions that comply with environmental regulations, improve water quality, and promote sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, especially in water resources, and will work closely with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water treatment and wastewater projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct environmental assessments and prepare technical reports to support project development.
• Design and optimize water treatment systems and wastewater treatment processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental considerations into engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD for designing engineering plans and layouts related to water systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental engineering, specifically in water treatment and wastewater management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and water quality standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
