Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. The ideal candidate will follow safety and security standards and will have refined written and oral communication skills as they will need to complete incident reports as required. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances. Previous Security/Loss Prevention experience is plus.

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to push and pull moderate amounts of weight.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Previous hotel security experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR Certification & Guard Card Certification.
