As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent financial institution location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring alarm panels, managing access control systems, and coordinating communications to support security-related operations throughout the facility. You will be the central point of contact for reporting incidents and relaying critical information, helping to deter potential security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and/or requests for assistance within the location.
  • Maintain detailed records of calls, incidents, and activities during the shift.
  • Coordinate with on-site security-related teams to help to deter unauthorized activities and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and/or concerns from employees and visitors.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures when handling incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Communicate clearly and calmly during critical situations, relaying information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entry points and granting access as directed.
  • Support Allied Universal management by reporting incidents, irregularities, and/or suspicious activities observed through surveillance or reported by staff.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
