Job Description Position Title: Security Assistant - Mid Reports To: Program Manager Clearance Type: Active Top Secret/SCI (willing to take CI Poly) Work Location: Huntsville, Alabama Start Date: On Contract Award Job Description: Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a federal agency personnel security program. Summary of duties include but not limited to: * Conducts and interprets database checks and credit reports. * Provides direct support and service to the administration of the agency's Security Program to include but not limited to logs, audits, data entry, analytical analysis, inventory, workflow tracking, maintaining schedules, and presentation briefs. * Provides support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes relating to Personal Security. * Initiates or performs extensive agency indices checks, arrest record checks, and similar tasks to obtain pertinent and identifying information. * Recommends the need for polygraph examinations and/or interviews based upon analysis of all data available. * Composes appropriate communications to internal Divisions and field offices. * Summarizes all data provided and developed in a formal written analysis of the security concerns and their resolutions, considering information developed. * Establishes and maintains liaison with other agency offices and officials including members of the IC to obtain, develop, and/or resolve queries as required. * Coordinates/works in concert with other agency components as required. * Performs security assessment investigations and provides recommendations. * Reviews and analyzes requests for investigations concerning security clearances. * Prepares a detailed analysis of all information developed, to include potential remedial or precautionary action to meet minimum security standards. * Assists with briefings and debriefings of individual cases as necessary.
