Job Description

Overview

The Security Administrator maintains the physical security of the branches and corporate offices by administering the development and implementation of a comprehensive facilities workflow and corporate security program, supporting the Credit Unions mission, goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administer the day-to-day activity and work schedule of the Physical Security departments.
  • Develop/enhance Physical Security policies and procedures to ensure they are aligned with Physical Security Program and Enterprise Risk Management program.
  • Respond to critical incidents in branch and office locations, as well as be a liaison to law enforcement.
  • Interact with all departments within the Credit Union to provide security related services.
  • Maintain the Credit Unions lease portfolio
  • Directly responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for MCU employees and members.
  • Foster Security and Facilities related vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of vendor invoices
  • Coordinate the security guard services at all locations as needed.
  • Overlook the day-to-day activity regarding the installation, implementation, and maintenance of electronic surveillance systems, alarms, CCTV and related systems.
  • Administer the day-to-day activity regarding the installation, implementation, and maintenance of the Card Access system.
  • Weekly visits to all locations to perform security inspections
  • Develop work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to recommend solutions that impact performance, losses and threats to the organization.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to issues of ethics, diversity, equity and harassment in the workplace.
  • Demonstrate the availability and capability to take on duties in a crisis or emergency situation.
  • Maintain operative internal communication channels for reporting misconduct.
  • Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Facilities and Physical Security management.
  • Industry recognized certifications, (I.e.- CFE, CPP, PSP, APP are a plus but not required)
  • Flexible hours as required.
  • The ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proven initiative to be a self-starter and proactive approach.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a One Team mentality.
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Technologically proficient.
